Originally from Brazil. Eric has a background deeply rooted in athletics, Having attended Florida Gulf Coast University on a tennis scholarship, Eric’s passion for racquet sports was evident from an early age. Raised in a family where athleticism was a way of life, Eric inherited his competitive spirit from his father, a former professional tennis player, and his mother, a former model.
While tennis initially took precedence in Eric’s sporting endeavors, he found himself drawn to the fast-paced action and camaraderie of pickleball. Despite a brief hiatus to focus on his collegiate tennis career, Eric’s love for pickleball remained steadfast.
During his sophomore year, Eric reignited his passion for pickleball, often joining pickleball professional Simone Jardim for friendly matches at her home. Since then, Eric has fully embraced the sport. Off the court, Eric enjoys a variety of leisure activities, including wakesurfing, golfing, and skateboarding. When he’s not on pickleball court, you can find Eric indulging in his favorite movie, Gladiator, or spending quality time with his family.
